The study on the post operative hypoxemia in facial bone fracture of orthognathic surgery.


Abstract
The purpose of this study was to know the incidence of post-poerative hypoxemia of patiens who had been intermaxillary fixated under general anesthesia in facial bone fracture and orthgnathic surgery.
The data including PO2, PCO2, Ph, HCO3, O2 saturation were obtained by ABGA which was performed preoperatively, immediately after surgery after 10 minutes O2 supply in recovery room and 25 hrs after operation.
@ES The results of this study were as follows :
@EN 1. The incidence of post operative hypoxemia in the patients who had been intermaxillary fixated under general anesthesia were not observed
2. In sex distribution, the difference in the incidence of postoperative hypoxemia were not observed.
3. According to the smoking habit, the difference in the incidence of postoperative hypoxemia were not observed.
